I hope they don't leak where they meet the tank that way.

        BTW......they are marked R and L I believe.

Your connections will be backwards too.

There is! You just have to friend off the little stop tab at the top of the front Chrome plate and you might have to take an 1/8 " off the selector lever to clear the tank and then you now have an off position when the lever is up!

that wasn't the problem, I'm used to petcocks that the levers go toward the back to be in OFF posistion, so I put them on the wrong sides which switched the outlet OFF/ON/RES, PRIME tubes, easier to switch hoses than drain tank and switch petcocks

                        Don,

                        Standard Petcock mod here:
                        http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread...ht=petcock+mod

I did this mod to my G. It's great to know that the things are OFF, especially when you are about ready to pull the tank off. That way there's no way of fuel coming out.

That won't be cause for a leak where the base meets the tank.

I actually just realized they were swapped around, actually.

I've had the tank off a dozen times in tge last 6 months with no leaking. I can see the benefit of an off for storage thou. For just in case the diaphragm decides it doesn't wanna hold the fuel back any longer.
