  • Steering Head Bearing

Does anyone have the bearing #'s for the steering head bearing but not the yamaha #'s but the #'s on the bearing themselves or even the sizes. I am looking for some bearing and I am trying to locate some before saturday. thanks in advance for your help.

I have the sizes, and you should be able to cross them to a local supply.
25 X 47 X 15 mm for the upper, and 30 X 55 X 17 for the lower. You wil need a seal, if you can find it, but I don't have that size.

thanks for the bearing sizes diverray. I did some searching on the net, for the part # with the sizes you posted, and from what I have found is the bearing #'s are 32005 and 32006. I hope this is correct, tomorrow I will try to see if I can find some locally.

If I remember I will look at my old bearings when I get home and see if there are numbers on them.

            Upper bearing is 32005JR 25X47X15
            Lower bearing is 32006JR 30X55X17

The All Balls set P/N 22-1004 is good quality, and they come with the seals.

not really, 20 bucks each fairly cheap for a good quality bearing, the bearings that were in my bike were dry and needed to be replaced.
