here's a quick fix; take that nasty plastic sail off the bike.
If it ain't there the exhaust gases can't get trapped behind it and it can't throw the exhaust noise back at you neither.

). The Jardine baffle is actually fairly quiet. My brother thought it was too quiet, but his 2009 Bonneville sounds like an air compressor. Post a pic and I can tell you if it's a Jardine. If not, you could always buy a Vance Hines street baffle as it can be made to fit. Dynoman.net sells them. I had to grind the inner cone of the baffle down to get it to go far enough into the megaphone to match the baffle bolt hole.
