I hope you get more performance out of it than he did. Even with the chain drive, and lots of lost weight, (Plus his skinny azz weighing much less than me to begin with) it couldn't hang with my XJ riding around OKC. I think he was more into the fabbing than the tuning though. From the seat, back, it looks much better than when he had it, in my opinion.

If you ever want a stock one somewhere in the price range you gave for that one.. keep me in mind, will ya? Good to see you found your way here to this board.
ha haa LOL.. actually, when i got it, it already had a seat mod it differently. so it was actually pretty comfortable..
and so far, the shop was able to fix all the gears and slowly putting the engine back together. and with the CR carb, it actually run like a champ!
and with the new Tank and seat, I think I might drop another 50 lb.
I think if the bike run as well as I'm thinking after I'm done with it, I might have add the big bore kit next winter to match the big carb it's running right now. it's gonna have a complete different look once I'm done with it.

Also wondering what he's doing exhaust-wise. Chop just had a single washer welded into the end of the exhaust for a tiny bit of backpressure.

Also love the piston/rod looking master cylinder.
when i got it, it just has 2 into 1 straight pipe running, I'm still not sure what I want to do to it until it's close to finish. I really love the open exhaust sound, but I'm thinking possibly run it all to one side like that inspire v-rod? either way, I need to make sure to tuck the exhaust in more, so when I lean into the corner, it will have more clearance.
and Thanks, I thought a lot of peep might flame me for that little brake reservoir, but I'm super happy with it..

            X-Pipe Candidate ?

This type of exhaust would give you good clearance and the performance no other exhaust can match.

              Vapor

So yes they all work, but I had to buy the dash board to get indicators but it really is just as simple as finding the wire for each ie: signal, low fuel light, neutral, high beam and connecting to the location you want. I used the extra LED's they included in the kit except for the resistance sensitive low fuel light. The two lights on the top are like a soft warning for temperature, and an over rev warning they don't do much else.

Hmmmm... I like the shape of it, but not sure if I like it 4 into 2? I wonder how that would sound? I actually like the way it's running straight pipe 2 into 1 set up, but just need to tuck it in more like the x-pipe..

awesome!! I just want the mph, rpm, and mileage works, rest of it would be just bonus for me! I ran it for a while without any speedo, it didn't have one when I got it.

not sure if I like the sound of it?? I actually like what I've already got better. But i might just have a local shop re-fab a new exhaust for it when it's time. but thanks for point that out.
