    Hi Skids,
looks like the makeover has taken perhaps a hundred lbs off it. The diet plus the suspension upgrades should make the chassis handle good enough to safely use all the horsepower. MadMax had better ride careful out there. And watch for ticket vendors. That bike looks like it's going 50 over even when it's parked.

yes, actually the bike want to handle and it just want to lean. but the exhaust pipe is not tuck in enough for the clearance. I actually have scrap the exhaust a few times try to lean. and it handle like a dream. and it's got the horse power to back it up and it's a mean mean machine.. ha ha.. sometime it surprises me.. it's running CR special carb, so the power band hits it pretty high.

here's what it looks like with rolling chassis

and upgraded the front end with 2011 Hayabusa

and upgraded the rear shocks with Ducati Hypermotard 08.

and powdercoated the front fork too to match the swingarm in the back ( Bronze ) it looks more like a Mocha color. I love it..

and gonna add the big headlight kit as well.

I was really inspire by this V-rod, so i had the tank and seat custom made to give that feel to it. not sure if I'm gonna paint it or keep it brushed aluminum look until the bike it pretty complete and then determine from there. now just waiting for the seat to arrive and also the engine being put back together.
The thing sucks, trying to replace all the gears is not a easy task, and looks like I'm gonna have the shop to use the Dremmell technique to fix the 5th gear. Was able to replace 1st and 2nd gear.. just couldn't find the 5th and hopefully the engine will be back in the frame sometime next week, and then rest of it just come down to re-assemble the wiring.

ha haa that's funny. yea, it's definitely different than a lot of others. the cool thing I can say is that it's one of the kind. i don't think there's another bike in the world has the same set up as this one ha ha.. that's why I love the uniqueness of this bike and want to make it even better.

Man, I can't believe that you didn't like the backwards bicycle seat that Chop had on it?? lol..

I hope you get more performance out of it than he did. Even with the chain drive, and lots of lost weight, (Plus his skinny azz weighing much less than me to begin with) it couldn't hang with my XJ riding around OKC. I think he was more into the fabbing than the tuning though. From the seat, back, it looks much better than when he had it, in my opinion.

If you ever want a stock one somewhere in the price range you gave for that one.. keep me in mind, will ya? Good to see you found your way here to this board.

Naw.. I'm just talking straight line acceleration. Not a lot of twisties in OKC.. lol.

Also wondering what he's doing exhaust-wise. Chop just had a single washer welded into the end of the exhaust for a tiny bit of backpressure.

Also love the piston/rod looking master cylinder.
