        sez he swapped the lot but it's the Special forks in Standard 'trees that gives the twitchy steering. That's why us sidecar guys do it:-

          BA80....I still have the original seat, and I think it's in good shape. The grab bar however has since become part of my sandblaster. I'll look at the seat and PM you.

            Ok, here's my before

            and here's my after

            No really!!! just a little soap and water was all I needed

            It will be spring before I post mine, love all the bikes, gives me plenty of ideas when it comes to choosing whether or not I want to paint mine a different color.

                  My stable

                  Here are my current XS1100s. Keep in mind that they're all works in progress.
                  First 80 SG dresser. Will have emblems & new paint next summer.

                  The 2nd bike is the all original 78E. It's arunner, just needs carbs redone.
                  3rd bike is the bar hopper 79SF carbs out for work.
                  4th bike is original 79 SF, 8000 miles with original 1 owner title. Cleaning up. It'll be cramine red or as close as possible.
                  Hope these pop up. Still a novice at the pix.

                      Looks good Tom, nice Windjammer also. Are you going to keep the black and gold colors when you paint her, hope so, I think that will look great

                        Ha Ha, here is my before and after I had to do some mods and paint work, the hard part was adding the extra 1000cc's

                            Original owner of an original classic. Just out of curiosity, what is the V.I.N. so we can see the production #.
