I'd have to say, that shield goes perfect with the Special, I might go that route myself.

              Dogbone

I put a new dogbone on my bike, and couldnt find the yamaha 1100 emblem I wanted, so I got a Honda GW 1100 emblem and put it on

I couldn't figure out why it didnt seam to have the power it use to, and I keep pulling in to resarunts to get the "blue plate special

Thanks to Tom Clisham who hooked me up with the Yamaha 1100 emblem, everything is back to normal, the bike is FAST again and I am stopping at the Bar for a beer

                    Hey Max

Sorry, the pix got mixed up. The 3rd picture is my 80SG. Getting painted next year, & new emblems

The 79 SF will be original in carmine red with no aftermarket stuff. All apart right now.

My wife loves riding on back of the SG & would never allow me to sell it.

                    • Hey Lon

The emblem looks great. I thought you'd put em on the air box like the later models had.

The knurled part goes on the clamp that's mounted to the forks.
