hay guys got my forks down and replacing seals and thinking about a set of progresive springs , looking for any pros and cons from some one allready been down that road! thanks ken

Yep, I use them, they are a definite improvement over the stock units. They still might be a little on the soft side depending on your weight and riding style. Switching to a heavier fork oil (15W or 20W) will also help in conjunction with the progressive springs.2H7 (79) owned since '89

I have progressive's in my 79SF and I can absolutely say that it handles better than any of my other bikes. A bit to pricey to have them in all my bikes though. I would say yes indeed if they are in your budget range!!2-79 XS1100 SF
