      Which it give it's due, if this was not something covered in the FSM, I would agree, but the engineers had to have a reason for going with the procedure they did rather than shimming, which would I'm guessing have been a one time deal per fork set so would have been part of the fork setup, therefore I feel they felt there would have been an issue with shimming, like excessive side pressure on the sliders for the calipers. And re-reading the posts, your correct, you were not talking at any point to the person I was responding to.
