i thought i had my smokin rear brake problem fixed. R&R'd total rear system, installed new pads, fluid, cleaned spooge in MC and inspected and lubed caliper piston with fluid, etc. when reinstalling rear torque bar and caliper bracket, i found the disc wasnt lined up in the middle of the caliper groove. it was rubbing on the right side, should be centered, right? well i know there r no axle washers missing cause it didnt have any. starting from the wheel side to the outside hole of the torque bar where u install axle, i have the following parts.
1) chrome wheel collar
2) rear caliper bracket
3) torque bar
4) 3mm empty space that looks like theres a missing washer on left
inside of torque bar
this is an 81sh, but i think most years r the same. someone
please look at urs and tell me if u have any washers and if ur disc is
centered in the caliper. appreciate ur help, im losin it!
