I can't find new motor mounts for the front. Why they only supply the rears is a mystery to me. Anyone got a source?

xschop I know used to make solid aluminum motor mounts and he had a set up for sale recently, dont know if he still has them.Nathan

Its a gage that measures the hardness of a material. Which would strongly coincide with the density of the material in this case. I doubt this is a published number for our motor mounts. Probably take some industrious soul with a durometer or other instrument to find the hardness.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I bought new fronts at www.cmsnl.com but they couldn't get the rears!XS1100F 1980 European model. Standard. Dyna coils. Iridium plugs. XS750 final drive (sometimes). Micron fork brace. Progressive front springs. Geezer regulator/rectifier. Stainless 4 into 2 exhaust. Auto CCT (Venturer 1300) SOLD. New project now on the go. 1980 European model.

From my inspection, the shape and size is the same, but that could be because the PO wasn't paying attention.
Any guesses, anyone.
James, would you be able to find someone with a durometer gage, and have the new ones tested?
Actually, the old ones shouldn't change that much, if the quality was on a par with the rest of the bike.
