Nubian, definitely not an 81 nor is the motor. Looks to be a 78 with the fairing/luggage option. 81 Venturer came in one color ONLY.......IndigoBlue.

VERY!!!!!!!!!!!! disappointed. Did not even bother looking for the vin #. There were cracks in the windshield that weren't noticeable in the pictures also the extent of rust all over. On second thought I should have gotten the vin I can always call him up to get it. I would not offer more than 400-500 for it. I am critical maybe someone else would have a different eye for it. If anyone is interested lemme know. It's an hour away from me.BAMN!

BTW wmarshy you are so right I have been searching and I mean everywhere that is the average going price for a turn key xs1100. I think i did pretty well except for trip required. The surprise is all original vetter fairing that came with the bike and oem Yamaha owner's and part's and service manuals.
