Larry, Chop, let me do a search mission in my garage for these and I'll send you both a set of pics and critical dimensions. It's been a while since I looked at these, but there isn't much to them. The biggest issue may be sourcing the 'valve', which looked to be a spring-steel precision disc. But that may be a common 'hardware' part if you know where to look. The spring shouldn't be anything too special (in fact, they furnish two for 'tuning').

Cycle time would probably be under 50 seconds....
The remnant from the auto bar feeder is about 12" long and they go to the scrap pile under normal circumstances, each machine (x4 machines) uses about 8-10 bars in 24 hours. You could probably get another 3-4" of usable material out of them if they were removed from the bar feeder and load manually. Thats a lot of brass that would go for scrap that could be potential parts!
