TKat's will easily shine and look beautiful. I put the on 3 of my standards, although two of them really didn't need any help at all. The other did show improvement in handling. PS, adjusting the bearings at the swing arm will also help a lot.

Oh I tried, before I got my new fender I tried to bend the thing, no go. I will have to see if the old one is still around otherwise I guess I gotta start tearing the bike down so the front fender is a good place to start. pics to follow.

Then front fender mount /brace on my XJ is pretty stout for a fender mount.
        Not enough though.

I just got a Tkat brace for my MNS. I'm having difficulty figuring out how it's supposed to go on there though. The fenders are almost touching the fork tubes, not leaving much room to fit the brace in, and it seems like the brace does not drop low enough to reach below the rubber dust cover on the top of the fork sliders. One picture I saw (below) looks like the dust cover actually has to be removed, then slid back down OVER the top of the brace. Is that true?

Yep, that's the trick. Slide the dust covers up, install the brace, then slide the covers onto the brace. That's what the 'lip' is for...

Thanks. I just wasn't sure, and didn't want to start taking things apart if I didn't have to.
