Lockhart oil cooler bolt

Anyone have that bolt that mounts the Lockhart oil cooler to bottom engine case?
This one snapped and Bikebandit doesn't show it, or it could be from an XS750/850 ....IDK

Member Bgrubb7 has the entire setup for sale (at least up til the 13th of this month. Says he has the bolt... might be worth a shot. Pic of it in the parts for sale forum.

It is sold, But that pic looks like the correct size. It is male and female double tapped (with different Thread Pitches no doubt)
I guess I will have to make one. The damn thing is too thin walled on the male thread that goes into the block and it snapped coming out.

It came out with a reverse tap.

Of all the XS11 stuff that I have 2ea of this is not one of them.
The male shank that inserts into the block has a thru-hole from the factory that is too thin-walled after being machined. I suppose it was lock-tited as well 30 years ago...LOL

Might be along shot but i once had that cooler mounted on my bike and some hardware laying around.Will check through my stuff and let you know by tomorrow.

xschop, The union bolt your looking for can be found at: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/.../start=15.html The only difference is the head of the XS11 bolt measures 32mm and the XJ Seca Turbo measures 27mm to clear the smaller adapter plate. The machined shank dia. and length are identical as I have both sitting in front of me as We speak. Also the washer is the same. I'll be using both bolts on my bikes or I would gladly send you one. Hey Chop,

In case you can't find one, I'm expecting another 3' threaded rod piece soon, and I can cut off a 1" section, and drill it with a 1/2" hole so that it would be a bit thicker walled, and you could then weld it to the remaining piece you have. OR, I could also send you a replacement THICK NUT that you could use to make one along with a longer 2" threaded rod piece. The only thing is the smooth section that is used to CENTER the plate. However, you have machine abilities, so you could probably lathe cut a section out of some pipe material, or make a sleeve even?? Let me know if you want this/these pieces.
