Picked up a Pacifico fairing, from Andreas.

It's a Yamaha (says so on the mfg tag) but it isn't the type that comes on the std models.

It has a round headlight and signals, and no walnut dash. The speakers go in the compartment covers.

Anyone seen one of these before? I will post a couple pics tomorrow.

Did Pacifico make a fairing for the specials, or maybe it's for a 750/850?

i have it on the 78E, but it's a bit snug at the lower triple tree fork clamp bolts, and where the electrical plug connects to the fairing.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

The photo that "bug" posted IS the correct fairing, lowers, and bags. I did NOT get the Yamaha box, as it seemed "to small" for my needs. My '78 had a "Harley" box on it. I DID rattle can it with "Macho Maroon" to match the rest of the bike. I did have a pic around someplace, but it may take me a while. The mount for the fairing had a lower bar bolted to the bosses in the down tubes, and an upper mount bolted to the steering head. It also had a mount that went to the front of the fairing to steady it.
The nice part was that the fairing was MUCH better at cutting through the wind than a Vetter!! I've had over ten miles an hour more top speed with the pacifico than a vetter!

            Here is the new fairing:

I don't think the first fairing, at the start of the thread, is a Pacifico, not sure the brand, though.

The new one is NOT the '78E OEM fairing. It looks like a yamaha for an 850, or a Special built by Pacifico. They didn't get too many out because of a fire in the early 80's, IIRC. The picture "bug" posted IS the correct '78 fairing. The photo XSrunner posted is also the correct fairing and lowers for the '78.( and a NICE looking example at that!!!)
