1979 XS1100 Standard -
The problem is they don't line up when the mufflers are mounted on opposite sides of the bike.
One crossover opening us up and the other is down when it's on the hog and when you turn the mounts toward the bike like for an XS11, one is still slanted down and the other up...
I'm going to take a grinder to the crossovers and then I'll probably cover the holes with the fitting to the pipe. I'm looking to get a section of pipe that will go over the front ends of the hog mufflers to cover the holes. So far it's the easiest way I can think of around the problem.
