Does anyone have an opinion about using blue locktite on the sync screws? I synced my carbs and the bike was smooth as silk, but after a 20 min ride on the freeway I find a slight vibration at 3.5-4k rpm. I was thinking of rechecking the sync and if it has changed, readjust and drip a little blue locktite on the screws to keep them from turning on their own.
First bike was an: 1978 XS1100
Second bike is an FJR1300.
Now I'm restoring a '79 XS1100.

A slight vibration shouldn't move those screws any. Try to find the source of vibration, maybe loose exhaust. I wouldn't use any thread locker, JMHO.2H7 (79) owned since '89
