    That's a lot of trash on that screen.
    Sounds like you smoked a piston and took out a rod.
    Pretty much boat-anchored it.

      Spun big end bearing

      I finally got the lower case off, ( i didnt undo the 2 bolts under the oil filter), and discovered number 2 pistons big end bearings top half had spun under the bottom half bearing resulting in the engine seizing, also piston 3's big end bearing had worn and was tight on the crankshaft.

      This was caused because of fuel leaking from the carbs and into the engine, none had leaked back thru the air filters, so i wasnt aware of it til i drained the oil and 5lts drained out.

      So at this stage Im up for a crankshaft, a con rod and bearings, so not to bad after all.

        Bearings

        The good news i rang yamaha and they have the
        bearings in stock,
        the bad news is that they want $40 for each half bearing, totalling
        $320, if i want to replace the crankshaft bearings im up to nearly $600.
