    I made one for the rear caliper on my XJ project.... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37206

    The main thing to remember is these are there to prevent the pad thrust surfaces from wearing the soft aluminum. As long as you cover the wear areas, what shape they are doesn't matter. You could even attach a 'simple' shim on the large thrust area if you used a countersunk flathead screw.
