180 hardtail planning

i have airride systems that i use under the seats in most of my hardtail apps. No problems as of yet. The stock frame will be here in case.
I have been riding hardtails for the last 14 years...no problems

airride seat eh? Ain't that cheating? If you move the suspension from above the rear wheel to just below your arse is the bike still a hardtail? When I rode hardtails they weren't called that, they were called "pre-war". Admittedly their Lycett or Terry's sprung solo saddles did ease the pain a little but only a lack of money stopped me buying a modern swingarm-framed bike. I fully admit that I cannot understand the sense in abandoning the idea of a rear suspension.
