airride seat eh? Ain't that cheating? If you move the suspension from above the rear wheel to just below your arse is the bike still a hardtail? When I rode hardtails they weren't called that, they were called "pre-war". Admittedly their Lycett or Terry's sprung solo saddles did ease the pain a little but only a lack of money stopped me buying a modern swingarm-framed bike. I fully admit that I cannot understand the sense in abandoning the idea of a rear suspension.
