ran engine on 79 xs standard at high rpm's fuel oil mixture now screeching souind like bird chirp coming from one side of motor written (whirp whirp) sound like bearing are normal. sounds giving lack of this motorcycle engine knowledge.

Not really understanding what you have written... but you had a carb dump fuel into the oil and you ran it at high RPM? Now the motor is making sounds on one side?

Is it in the top end or bottom end? Are you still running it with the fuel in the oil trying to check it out?

It does sound like bearings if it's making this sound. It could also include ruining the crank and cams... or spinning a bearing and even ruining the whole engine block. Nothing really to do but disassemble and see.

I need to rebuild this motor I Ruined my piston bearings running the motor with oil and fuel mix. Consequently it never hit the street. Cams and borings don't work unless it is blueprinted. never mix and match borings ,honings, and cams with oversized piston rings. put her back or go all the way she'll work. who is confusious? with proper rebuild and pistonkit should bust 1hundred and 4forty 4(four) miles and hour. What does a burnt rod/ bearing sound like?

Not a clue what you're saying here...

But if you washed the bearings and ruined them, there is a chance that you ruined the crank, cams, and piston rods also.

I think we're all pretty "Confucius-ed" right about now.

I think it all started with the fuel and oil mix. You know, sort of like making a martini with scotch and vermouth.

Sometimes making sense doesn't at all.

I belive it is rebuild time for the bike.

                            Does anyone speak Elusian?....

                            It's either that or Thebian...

Maybe he's testing to see how smart you guys really are-you all are pretty clever, you'd need a REAL challenge...

I think what he's trying to say is that he made a mistake not realizing the amount of gas in the oil. And he wants to know if he can put it back together as is and make it work, or does he have to bore it out and redo it, blueprint and all.

Confucius say, "Boy who not complete profile whole way, so to warn others, not too smart fortune cookie. Future not look too bright."

                            Okay, I'll stop...
