I have a sticky rear brake on my 82 xj11 and I was wondering if there is a way to adjust it? The brake pedal sticks down. Thanks again.

I just had similar problem, tried couple adjustments but eventually found that the spring just needed good shot of pb blast to loosen things up. -
If the pedal is "sticking" remove it and clean the shaft, little grease and re-install. There is some adjustment on the rear master cylinder but has nothing to do with a sticky pedal.
What condition are your calipers/MC/proportioning valve in ?

Hey mro, I got the shaft out and got it based in anti-seize compound, but when I tapped the shaft out the big spring that puts your foot pedal back to the ''off " position popped off and I can't figure out how it goes back on. Please help, thanks again.1982 XJ1100Comment
