    Jerry, I don't think it's that hard of a job. We pull the coupling on the 750 FD to seal the oil hole, and then reinstall it. Takes about 5 minutes.

      The coupling will come right out, and you can take the pinion gear out of the hub, but you may new to change the shims on the new hub as it may have slightly different tolerances.

        Thanks. I'll try pulling the coupling some time to get beter photos of the splines.

        Has anyone tried swapping the guts of a 750 / 850 final drive into the 11 housing? Would be more trouble than the accepted method of swapping in a 750 / 850 FD; just curious if it could be done.

          won't work, and also the drive pinions won't swap/match either....
