Well, concurrent with the advice found in the tech stuff, I figured it'd be a good idea (FIRST mistake) to change out the brake fluid in my beast. Front brakes went well, everything cleaned up and flushed/bled out perfectly.Front brakes now work like brandy-new.
REAR brakes, however, are another story. Ended up having to pull the whole cylinder out, remove the plunger, and clean/buff the inside of the chamber to remove rust deposits and debris(AKA "SPOOGE"). Upon assembly, apparently things didn't go quite right. Spent a whole day using various methods of bleeding, until I couldn't stand it any longer, and re-pulled everything. Found a tear in the stupid plunger, so it's kaputskie for that. Goin in the morning to try to find another good master cylinder at the bike graveyard. HO-HUM...lesson learned. CHA-CHING...
