  • Who Wants A Bolt-on Chaindrive And Fat Tire?

POLL....SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY! No joking here, I will consider fabricating an alloy swingarm to bolt directly up to the xs11 frame and will take a 180 STOCK RADIAL tire with stock dual shock mounts ( you can keep the xs11 stock shocks)....the price would be set at $850 (chain drive housing included of course), ... I have found the perfect Swingarm for this dual shock setup....

          chain drive

So you could get the best deal possible, I will be selling the chain drive housing with bearings for 350 bucks. You would only need to get entire rear end from a kawasaki zx11. @ $200-250 from the bay. with a brand new tire you would be under 800 bucks for a complete swap....Also you will have to send me your middle drive or another one for the conversion.....

                chaindrive

i know this may sound funny but i love the
xs1100 but when i'am going down the road all i can think is how much it's going to hurt when the middle drive locks up and how my 150.00$ tennis raquet will be ruined when i crash. so i want a chain drive.
                as ever bill

ps with r1 shock 2 up is so much better the camera is coming so pics soon

In my time reading this forum I've never heard of anyone having this happen. I suppose if you didn't maintain it and let it run dry it could happen.

If anyonev needs middle drive gear units for this conversion let me know I have 5-6 stock middle drive gears in the parts pile. Assuming we all do this they will be worthless soon. $30 each includes shipping.... in continental USA andreas

                              waiting list

It realistically takes me a week to do one, so not a long wait. I am taking first come first serve at this point. I have the final design down and everyone's inner front sproket to engine case will be 82mm adjustable out to 97mm......chop
