That one you linked to looks like it might be a bit too large vertically? Doesn't say what dimension it was, but said 10" fan!
If you look at the photos at the top of this page, note the small size of the cooler, to keep it away from the header pipes, and also with long enough hose to mount it high, so that air would flow thru it over the head, under the tank...very smart!!
Also, in those photos, there is an adapter plate that mounts in between the OEM oil filter chamber and the engine case. Inside the engine case is just a large 1/2" hole coming from the Oil Pump down into the filter chamber, then flows thru the filter, and into the threaded filter bolt and up into the engine. So....you couldn't just tap holes into your oil filter housing. However, you might be able to tap some threads into that 1/2" hole in the engine case, and then find a way to adapt the other end to fit into the 20MM 1.5mm pitch threaded hole where the oil goes up into the engine. If you did that, then you wouldn't need the OEM chamber, you could then use the remote spin on filter adapter with that KIT, or possibly some other kit with a smaller cooler?
