Testing my coils - Need help

    My coils and plug wires have electrical tape arround the ends of them.

    Why not take the tape off first and see what it is covering up. It might just be cracked insulation on the plug wires. Changing the plug wires is relatively easy, and a lot cheaper, then buying another set of coils. Check the tech tips as this is covered quite extensively.

      Here's the link to my tip. If you already have the carbs off, it's not difficult. Much more accurate than trying to eyeball.
