Looking to ad a fork brace to my 80xs1100 S. I found one for a 79xs1100s. Iam thinking this should work. If you can shed some light on this it would be a big help. Looks like this is going to be a tight fit. Thanks Joe

Two types of fork braces, one for standards and one for specials. Specials need more arch to clear the fender.

The specael also is 1 mm larger diameter. Go with a TKat unit. They are an easy bolt in, and work GREAT.
Do a search on tkat, and you should be able to fine the info.

Hope this helps you make up your mind. I have not tried either but I own an 80 MNS and I am partial to the black telefix brace. Not that you couldn't just paint the TKAT.
