    You can put the TCI anywhere you can get the wires to reach. There's plenty of air circulating around under the seat, the SNORKEL is there, or at least that's where it's supposed to be!!

    Some folks have put it in their toolbox instead of carrying those little cheesy tools, they usually have a pack, or saddlebags for the tools anyways!

      i understand, they have to be stuffed in the "box" perfectly, but the way i ride, naked, thats the only place for it, wish the seat flipped up, any other bikes out there that has to bolt the seat on?

        My 81E is a bolt on seat.

        I just use a (discreet) bungee to keep the thing on instead of wrenching at 4 seperate bolts each time I wanna take off the side covers.

          scares me to think the seat can fly off with me on it...
