    I also use the ATV seat cover for all the reasons you mention.

      There is a lot of info on http://www.diymotorcycleseat.com that I have gone through that I plan to look further into. I'd like to replace some of the original foam and customize it a little.

      I have an electric staple gun, but as has already been mentioned, it probably won't be able to do the job.
