        Hmm ? . . . Let's see . . .

Gonna get me one of these:

Only stipulation it has to be an '85 first year

Love to find one of these in a barn:

I'll settle for one of these:

        . . . and the list goes on and on. . .
1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
        1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
        1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
        1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
        1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

I'm out riding this one and for me, it's a hoot. Nice weather will keep me from working cosmetics on it and that rich running issue on my Eleven Special.

A 'turn key' bike like that tends to cause one to just let the XS11 gather dust back in a corner of the man-cave........BTDT with my bought-new Venturer more than once...lol. The T-bone crash and totaling the ST just has me and my body apprehensive rather to continue or not the riding fun. Even a stopped tip-over would likely leave me wheel-chair bound for the remainder of my time here, but not riding won't get rid of me participating here on this site.

My rides are shorter now a days, so the wife picked me up a VStar 950 for my birthday last year so we could do the shore runs. It feels more like my xs650 in weight and handling but has power to pull us both along. And the Fuel Injection is much appreciated on startups. No more needing to take a weekend to do the four carbs...

Then again I've had this 1999 Fuel Injected Moto Guzzi V11 Bassa for a while and the sound alone makes the Ducati boys pee themselves as I cruise by. It handles better than the old XS11 and feels like it pulls harder.
