This morning, on my way to work, I jumped on it a bit to pass someone on the ramp to the freeway. '99 Bandit, almost 17k miles.
Broke the chain. Didn't bind up in the wheel or anything, so I just ended up on the side of the road getting a tow truck.
Slight damage to the chain guard, sprocket cover destroyed, clutch slave cylinder destroyed. Rear sprocket certainly damaged. Found part of a chain link sitting on the starter.
So, really kind of missing that shaft drive right now.
I *think* I had it a bit too tight, but it was 500 or 1k miles ago that I last tightened it, and it's certainly been fine for a while since. Got a bucket of parts on the way to repair.

The pool of fluid on the driveway (after getting it home) is brake fluid from the clutch cylinder, not oil, so.. that's fine
