Great choice...
If ya haven't had it very long, I'm gonna tell ya... you are gonna love it!
I've got 2 friends who have '08's. I just took a 2800 mile trip following one on his '08 through the mountains of Colo. (Colo. Ride report '09) and they are phenomenal handlers. His averaged over 40 mpg. -0- problems.
Love that red, too!

let me first say I am green with envy
But the swingarm pivot looks like it's way back from what is usual.
Is it really like that or is it an optical illusion? How does it handle?Fred Hill, S'toon

As for how it handles, I am impressed! It has quick steering and feels well planted in the turns. The only time you feel the 600 pounds is when you push it around the garage.Gary Granger

I've got a fjr1300. Love the bike. Im sure your gonna fall in love with your new bike. I love the old bikes but when you get on anything late model its kinda hard to go back to the old ones. Handling and suspension are great. Enjoy and have fun. Also gotta love fuel injection.
