kph vs. mph
Looking at the speedo, the outer ring has to be mph rather than kph because the outer number is 70 while the inner number is 110. Since there are 1.62 kilometers in a mile, that jives.
I did try to figure out how fast he was going when it was pegged based on how fast the stripes in the road were going by. Here in MI, the stripes are set 50 ft apart (I assumed it's the same in FL), so trying to count how many go by and using a stopwatch, I only came up with about 140 mph.
So either the stripes were going by too fast for me to count accurately, or they're not 50 feet apart, or user error could've come into it.
Any way you slice it, this dude's movin!
