    Okay folks,

I'm placing another order of fuseblocks, and will get a few packages of flag terminals as well, will be a nice cheaper/affordable option for those getting the fuseblock.

And yes, Garth, I can send you a set of flags for a $1.00!

    TC,

Although it is to late for me since I already completed this mod. If I ever do get a stablemate for Thunderstruck, it would be very nice to have the connectors come with the fuse box. Those are much nicer than the bare ones I got at RS and having to combine shrinkwrap and tape to seal them up.

Definitely!! That's one of the reasons I had not done the upgrade yet. I didn't know what connectors to get, or where to get them! Make them available, and I will be ordering a set.

yeah, what I used worked out great but for the cost I would have ordered these to have the option available.

Thanks again for the block, TC, great find!

A possible addition to the fuseblock?

    Hey Folks,

As most of you know, I "happily" provide/resell the fuseblocks I get from DelCity for members here, since they would otherwise have to buy 5 of them to get the minimum $25.00 order amount. It was recently suggested that it would be possibly beneficial to those getting the fuseblocks that I also provide the 90 degree insulated 1/4" terminals that would fit them as well!!

I looked into it, and DelCity does offer a 90 degree "Flag style" 0.250" terminal connector in the 14-16 ga wire range. I could offer a set of 12 for about a $1.00 extra along with the $9.00 fuseblock price.

Radio shack offers them but only in a 6 pack, and 3 are 14-16 ga and 3 are 22-24 ga, for $1.99 . They also offer uninsulated 90 degree/flag style terminals in a 10 pack for same price, all 14-16 ga.

Nylon insulation material is molded onto brazed seam barrel and is resistant to deformation.

Funnel entry is formed into inside of insulation to allow for easier wire insulation.

Brazed seam will not separated under pressure or operating stress.

Clear nylon allows for easy inspection of wire connection.

Industry standard color-coding indicates wire range.

Rated to 600 volts maximum, building wire; 1000 volts maximum, 105° C.
SO....what do you folks think, both those that have gotten this fuseblock and installed it, would you have wanted to be able to get these connectors, or just get your own? I used straight ones on mine, not sure how well the 90 degree ones would have worked with the way I installed mine?

They would/could be an OPTIONAL item, just wondering if there would have been enough of a desire to provide these in addition to the fuseblock!

Gary, the way the weather has been up here lately, you can count on me being over there soon to get the fuse boxes in and maybe rebuilt my brake cylinder.

I've got to swing by today anyway to pick up those directionals for Garth.

My 2 were in the mailbox on Sat. and not a moment to soon
I was playing in the fusebox later in the day trying to get the motor to turn over on my project SF and 2 of the tabs broke on me
    These things look great
Now all I have to do is get DJinNH over here someday and we can put all 4 in
Ive got my eye on one of those spin on oilfilter adaptors next if they are still available

TC, with the problems I had on my SG and the tabs breaking, this decision seems like a "no-brainer".

    I'll be ordering two (2).

Just wanted to let you guys know you pay via paypal, if you check the "parts" section there is a sticky at the top with a list of parts and services provided by members and part way down there is fuseblocks from TC, his paypal address is there and the cost is 8.00 bucks.
