              "I was not able to get it on a dyno, but I'm sure it was at least a 60hp increase at 8lbs of boost! The max boost is controlled by the spring in the wastegate (now has a 8lb spring). If you want to install this kit for drag racing the turbo is capable of 20+ lbs of boost."

                  Going to look into trubo's on some other bikes I saw at a local used bike shop. If can really get that much power I might bid on it. Have 14,250 original miles on my XS. Should be able to handle it.

                  Wouldn't want it for every day ride tho, have to find anouther XS.

                    .. at only 8lbs boost your bike should still be pretty streetable .. it would be alot of fun.. shifting from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th gears while having fun with this set up might be a challenge though
                    .. fuel milage should be interesting too

                      I Bumped mine up to 14 psi using the powerup kit and stuff.

                      This is and older pic. I've tricked it out some since then

                          My windshield says "Turbo" on it. Will that make my bike go faster?

                            If anyone else on this list is intending to bid on this please let me know and I won't bid.
                            Let me know here or PM me.
                            I'm looking for an XScuse not to buy it (and save my marriage though that would allow more time for riding).

                              Pat;
                              If I had the extra money at this time, I would save you from that turbo. I do want a turbo for my '78, but I have to wait until I have the money in the bank. That is why it's my "winter project".
