Well the kit includes everything right down to custom side covers. Not to mention the exhaust pipe. Heck the turbo is a tad over 200 bucks alone. I think as a bolt and drive kit it wouldn't be a bad buy. If I had to I would end up doing the injector install and adding a turbo to it. Just missed one on good ole Ebay that went for 25 bucks. Snooze=lose. The hardest part for me would be the pipe fabrication. With a few pulled strings I could have it done for me, but.... All in all bolt on is nice.

I was the high bidder when the guy shut it down. He told me someone walked into his shop and laid down $1100. and walked out with it.
More than I wanted to cough blood over.

The Goldwing guys have played around with putting a single carb on the GL1000. A company called cycle innovations had built a manifold and sold the kit described below for $475. They were at www.cycleinnovations.com, but that link is not working.

I was never sold on the idea as the reasons for having seemed to suggest I could not properly maintain a set of 4 carbs. I always wondered how well a carb from a car would deal with the lean on a bike.

Anyway, if someone is going down that path here is some information.

        GL1000 invader kit.

The kit consists of a new air intake system, a new single Holley down draft carburetor to feed all cylinders, fuel line, fuel filter, spark plugs, a specially designed and patented intake manifold, instructions, troubleshooting guide, and all the necessary hardware for installation.

Information can be found at the spot below (it is almost at the bottom of the page)
