Any clues as to who may have done it? The FBI got back to me and referred me to CERT, a related agency. I'll continue with this if the moderators/webmaster want me to, or I can let it lie.

Not sure what do do with it....it certainly did not seem like a 'terrorist act' no graphic pictures or anything super destructive, we are about the smallest and least likely website to create an international incident on, and in some post they sounded arabic and some like somebody just out to wreck some havoc. The IP and ISP are logged as part of the software...JP and I have that info. I think JP is going to find out what he can about the attackers and the report it. Not sure at this point, we are still busy tring to make this site right.

        Hack, hack, hack!

What a drag. I'm new to this site. It's nice to have a place for us to get away from the ugly politics and uglier world events and just talk bikes, but it looks like we can't even escape it here. Oh well, since it's been brought up:

The crusades were a reaction to the Islamic Jihad which had preceded it by several hundred years.
European Christians didn't invade the "Holy Land" just because they were nasty bigots and didn't like the Muslims being there. Islam was at that time, and apparently still is, on a Jihad against the "Infidel," (i.e. anyone who isn't Islamic.) Islamic forces had taken Spain and had almost succeeded in invading France.
Everyone they encountered had the choice of conversion or death by the sword.

While my Scots/Irish ancestors weren't always too nice to my Mississippi Choctaw ancestors, it must be remembered that the members of many Indian tribes weren't very nice people either. In fact, the most common big entertainment event for your average Indian village was to witness the slow torture of a captive.
I won't go on, because like I said it's nice to have a place etc., but for a real eye opener on what the Koran and "militant Islam" are about, go to Http://www.prophetofdoom.net/prologue.html

To end on a lighter note, my theory is that it wasn't a Jihadist, but a Harley operative who sabotaged our website in order to get our bikes off the road sooner because they can run circles around 1200 Sportsters.

Old bikers never die, they're just out of sight!

My recently re-built, hopped up '79 Special caught fire and burned everything from the top of the engine up: gas tank, wiring, seat, & melted my windshield all over the front of the bike. Just bought a 1980 Special that has been non oped for 9 years. My Skoot will rise from the ashes and be re named "The Phoenix!"
        I've been riding since 1959.
