Most of what I've posted were from my phone(s) and no longer exist. I still have some on my camera but it's a hassle to regenerate them all.

    I'm pissed.

The right thing to do would be allow what's existed BEFORE the greed took over to remain and when the new policy went into effect everything after be subject to it.

Ain't gonna happen though. Those Porsche and and Mercedes payments need to be made.

If we could somehow edit our own old posts we could replace a lot of them

52 pages? And that doesn't include albums.

                Yeah, I don't think so.

                  Hey again,

Okay, so if I'm getting what you're saying, you have 52 pages worth of photos in the root directory of your account, what PB calls the BUCKET...the first place you see when you log into your account and select your library, BEFORE you click on any albums!?

If you'll scroll down the page you'll see a menu of ACTIONS , and one of them is DOWNLOAD.It says Download ALBUM, but it will get ALL of the photos in your main BUCKET section. I just tested it, and it will allow you to download ALL of the photos in your main bucket in one fell swoop. You will have to do a little captcha thing to prove you're not a robot, but then you should be able to get all of them in one large ZIP file.

Then you will have to click on each album and then perform the same download function, but again it will get you ALL of the photos in the album at one time, you won't have to click on each individual photo to download.

Just didn't want you to LOOSE your photos.

Glad that download function worked for you TC. I tried it several times and it just sat there and did nothing. I tried downloading one pic at a time but it took so long that I would be long dead before I could have downloaded them all that way.

Downloading doesn't work for paid accounts, either.

Sometimes I get an anti-robot Capcha prompt that has me pick some items out of an array of pictures before it errors out and fails; sometimes I just get the Capcha prompt. Neither one works, it just shows one of their generic error message on a yellow banner at the top of the page:
"Hmmm. Something didn't click. Want to give it another shot? Try again now."

The page and its scripts have to be refreshed to spin the download/fail wheel again and I haven't been able to get it to work with any of the browsers I have. I'm pretty sure it's a Photobucket server-side problem, not my computer but all of the pictures I have on their site are still stored on my computer so I don't need the copies from Photobucket. It's still a pretty serious fail for Photobucket.

It doesn't matter what their mutable TOS says on whatever day of the week that you put your stuff on any web site, it's like storing your money with the IRS -- you can be absolutely certain that they'll treat it like it was their own and you'll never be able to get most of it back.

                              Mia Culpa

                              Hey guys,

Sorry about the misleading info! I was multitasking viewing both pages, ours and PB seeing what was necessary to download the photos, and I stopped once I saw the download button...and ASS U ME D it would work!

I later tried it with my old version of FireFox on my Vista laptop, then the latest FF on my Win10, along with the latest IE, and again with MS's EDGE, I got past the captcha tests, verified, and actually saw the download progress bar go across the screen and apparently complete, but when I looked for a file in my download folder, there was NOTHING NEW, no ZIP file of any sort!

I'll use the CONTACT US link to ask them what's up with the download malfunction, perhaps they aren't aware of a problem??? Yeah....right.

                              Stay tuned!

BTW, Greg, IF I/PB get this to work, then I'll be happy to download YOURs provided your library is an OPEN and not private access type, and then can send them to you in email attachment(s). Can you send in a PM or post the link to your main PB library here?

I'm sure if you contact PB they will be able to make it work......for a fee.

Did you try and see if they would go to a flash drive?
