I really like the KZ1000 LTD. Probably the same reason I like the Yamaha Specials.

even better with a Corbin seat.

            Better?

Somewhere, I have a photo like that of me on my new XS650, with my mom on the back. I still have the bike and mom. Both are older, but getting around just fine.

I remember Maximan's bike. I never saw it, but I remember the story. Didn't it sell on eBay for over $8K?

MAXIMAN sold it on a bet with friends that it wouldnt sell for a certain amount,,,it did sell for over $8000 but even so MAXIMAN lost money on that deal when you consider how much he spent which was in the neighborhood of 13K to get that bike to its present state(at that time...no idea abt now)
This is no ordinary XJ1100...internally and externally this is prolly the finest XJ1100 in existence IMHO

I could tell a story about that XJ, a HD, and a tunnel at the North end of the Golden Gate Bridge. We all talked about it later, but the HD didn't even know what he was up against!, and I think he had a LOT more cash into the HD....

Yeah I vaguely recall the story but Cody spanked that HD..its not easy to make a shaft drive bike pop a wheelie...

Oh, I don't know about that.....
In '78, I could bring the front end up in three gears EASILY, but then, we also had REAL GAS in Can'taffordya.
