This spring we got in for repair an EXTREMELY rare yamaha RX-50 two stroke. Search it up and you'll find the RX was given to dealers, one per dealer, to raffle or whatever as promotional material for the midnight special.
The day after I fully rebuilt the engine and had her purring like day one.....
we got in the very bike it was meant to promote, for brake service...I had to capture this one of a kind moment.
Next up, this spring we were publicly challenged by another shop in a budget bike build off. Rules: 3 guys, 30 days, $1000. We chose a 1981 CB 650 "Rosie" Custom handbuilt in our shop frame from the engine back. We powdercoated ALL parts except the frame. I was" lucky" enough to delace/powder/relace the wheels. We won hands down, auctioned the bike, and gave proceeds to a local fallen soldier organization (kinda fitting since our shop is veterans) Funny fact, we did the math on our costs involved, we calculated 12 different times and each time came up with the same number $999 Enjoy!!!
