Looks like a HD sportster rear fender and light to me. Maybe seat too. The engine cylinders are not painted black like my 81...Maine that lends a hint.'81 XS11H Venturer - holed up in storage while life happened since 07/08/04
'81 Kawasaki KE175 enduro - 63 mph of smokey fun, now with collector plates!

smaller xs
Looks like the smaller shaft drive version of our 1100's, I am guessing the xs,xj 650 since the xj550 was chain drive..............the wheelbase and size looks definately smaller so my best guess is the 650..........Mike in Sun DIegomike

That's not an XS1100 engine. The jugs and head are shaped wrong..Greg

do you know what Year the photo was taken?
I don't think it is an XJ of any size.
It is not and XS850 or XS750
My best guess a modified 79 XS1100 but the picture is a bit fuzzy so I'm not 100% sure.Ty

But, then again, a stock 79SF doesn't have reflectors mounted to the rear shocks as this bike does ...
But this bike looks to have been modded, anyway ...Marco
