        Hi phil,
Yeah, my SG came with two horns and if I'd bothered to look, Clymer's wiring diagrams agree with you.
But those 2 pathetic bleats were hardly more audible than one.
However, my Stebel-Nautilus does seem to attract attention, even from inattentive cellphone yakking SUV soccer moms.
The horn is connected straight from the main fuse with 14ga wires, it's relay is triggered by the existing horn circuit.
Dunno if the claimed 139dB is accurate but it's loud for sure.

I tried to wire the new Nautilus to the existing horn circuit (Venturer) to no avail. Turns out that the pink wire that grounds via the push of the horn switch (with ignition switch on), grounds itself when you turn the ignition switch off - thus the Nautilus horn would sound off when I turned the ignition off? Don't know for sure, but it is quite possible that I have missed something.

The 81H has two chrome ringed horns mounted.

              Hey Mike,

There's something wrong with your wiring then, that pink wire should only ground/complete the circuit when the horn button is pushed, that's where it finally goes to ground at the bars. SO...if it's grounding when you turn the key off, then that wire has gotten crossed with another wire in the harness or such!

Hey Fred....put your ear 4 inches from it and it'll then be ~130 dbs!!! The 118 level is at 2 meters/6 feet away. No problem SloMo... I have brain farts also!

I was thinking that something was wrong. Doesn't make sense that a wire would change polarity when you turn the ignition off. Everything electrically works on the bike. Not sure how this happened, but it did.
