Garagamus, that tab looks like the seat has been fitted at some time with the tab not correctly under the tank mount but above it, then the seat sat on bending the tab up, the tab should be level with the seat base. Easily starightened for sure, just didn't want Rush making one wrong.

Just a mention on what I was waffling about...... the tab should be level with the seat base not bent like the one in the pic, or you'll never get it under the tank mount rubber doodad thingymajigTom

I never have got that quick disconnect mod to work.
By the way Ian, I got a set of those free at a bike shop because they were removed from a bike and replaced. They are in perfect shape though.Nathan
