I have written/emailed/FB'd The Webmaster/Owner, so he's aware of the problem and the possible steps that will be needed to fix the site, most likely a major update/upgrade with a newer version of vBulletin, which might also fix other problems the site has had/HAS but I've just been working around ie. not being able to actually ADD any new members because the database is stuck at like 18,### member ID # but won't increment any farther to allow any new members. I've been recycling OLD unused/Inactive x 10+ yrs accounts and reassigning them to the new member's info!
Might be a good time to consider leaving vBulletin for a free / opensource option.

      Hey Truth,

I was just chatting/texting/IM'ing with the Webmaster a couple of days ago, he had not seen the emails from the HOSTing site I had sent him a few weeks earlier, got stuck in JUNK folder. He mentioned about possibly other choices besides vBulletin. I'm not a programmer, but I brought up the concern about the ability for other FORUM software to be able to IMPORT vBulletin databases and such so that we would not loose the 16+ years worth of threads/posts/ knowledge base that is stored there!?!?

We have another fellow who is a Database GURU, that's his IT job, and he will be working with the Webmaster to hash out the best options going forward to try to get the site's software updated and fully functioning again, but that will take some time I'm sure.

When the update is finally ready to install, the site will be shut down temporarily and folks will see a message page about that when they try to access the site. Stay tuned!.

I am a software developer, and I assumed the data migration was the hangup. (That's why I sent that link. ) Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Have you gone through and cleared ALL the links to the old site? Here is what I posted a few days ago,
Lets start with the browser you use. What is it? I use Firefox, and had Chrome on another computer with no problems.
With Firefox, you click on the menu, the three bars in the upper right corner.
Click on the "History" icon, looks like a clock. DELETE ALL history of xs11.com.
Next is "Options" icon, looks like a gear. Select "Privacy" from list on left side. Clear recent history and then remove individual cookies.
Next go to "Security", click on "Saved Logins", and delete ALL xs11.com logins.
Then close all tabs and restart Firefox.
The other browsers will have a similar menu tree that you MUST go ALL the way through so ANY xs11.com reference has been cleaned out.

                Hey Ras,

As I posted earlier, the site is partially broken due to being moved to a new server with newer PHP hardware type code and the OLD vBulletin software isn't compatible with the newer PHP code. JP(Webmaster) is aware of the situation and is researching the best way to get things fixed, like a vBulletin upgrade, or possibly some OTHER forum program, but it's going to take some time, possibly MONTHS! I can't do anything about it UNTIL it's fixed, and I can't edit users accounts in the ADMIN section either.

Just realize that posting repeat complaints that have already been posted will not do anything to speed up the process. Just bare with it, and wait to see the notification that the site is under construction one day when you try to access it, and THEN you will know it's being worked on and hopefully fixed.
