Almost every time I try to access this website, I can't for at least an hour (usually during the daylight hours). Yesterday was the worst; couldn't get on for almost 5 hours! I seem to have much more success in the late evening (after 11 pm). ????? I've had this problem ever since I joined the site, and I've NEVER had this problem accessing any other site. Very frustrating ...

From out west, I as well often cannot access. I have determined that it is any time day or night.

Serious issues getting on the site, have to manually type in address, can't use any of the site links to other parts of the site, have to type in all the addresses in manually.

So why are we all answering to this question, but we hear nothing new for results? It sucks to be the recipient of poor online service, and it sucks even more if you are a long time participant of the forum. I have been sucking the hard one for some time now and am wondering if the mods even care.

Like Rasputin, I'm getting really tired of this site. I come on here and try to help people, type a response up, then 9 times out of 10, I get told it can't find XS11 when I hit submit. I have been told that this is only happening to the people that actually donated money to the site before.. so that's a nice thank you, isn't it?

I am also wondering why we're responding here with no answers. It happens with Explorer, it happens with with Chrome. It happens on my work computer and it happens from home. Frustrating as hell... if it actually matters to anyone.

                    Site Access

Earlier (a couple months back) I was having quite a bit of trouble getting the site to come up. Would get a message "can't find XS11.com". More recently the issue is less frequent. Still is frustrating when you really need to try to answer a question for someone who is waiting.

Just about finished with this site. About 90% of the time, I write up a response trying to help someone and when I hit submit, get the "Can't find XS11.com".

I come on here and click a few links to read, but eventually I get the same "Can't find..." and I leave. Frustrating as h@$*.

Had to give the witchdoctor a chicken

That's how I am with computers, anyway.
So I sent for the witchdoctor (yes, unlike MDs they do make house-calls) to chase out all the demons that had invaded my computer to make it rain adverts and solicitations onto the screen
(No I DO NOT want to buy your stuff or marry a Russian lady or play your stupid videogame so F**K OFF!)
$88 later all the demons have been exorcised and all my sites are opening right up with no invaders.
Including this one, although it does seem a tad slow.
So just maybe it ain't just the site, but a site + computer thing?

I have issues getting on here, but it's hit-and-miss; some days right on, others it can take several tries. But what I have noticed is that it's not just this site, but seems to be all the sites I visit but at different times. One day I can get to sites A and B no problem, but have issues with C. Next day, A and C but B is now the trouble. Depends on the day and time too. I won't claim to know much of anything about how internet 'protocol' works, but I suspect that the issue isn't at either end but somewhere in the middle and possibly an issue with 'priority' about which signal gets sent through a switching hub and which one doesn't.

I will say that since the XS.com server upgrade, I haven't had the extended problems of getting on the site (no more days-long inaccessibly) with delays being no more than a few hours at most, most much shorter. My local ISP upgraded their servers and that helped too. Prior to their upgrade, when several of my neighbors were using Netflix my connection speed and reliability got much worse.

Bottom line, I wouldn't be too quick about blaming XS.com, the problem may be elsewhere...
