    tire bead tip

My father taught me to use the old fashion bumper jack to break beads, lay tire flat on ground set jack up like your going to use it then slide tire under jack, start jacking square bottom of jack just off the rim (obviously) jack till bead breaks. This also works on car tires (well all but the most stuborn anyway) hope this helps someone. If not i tried.

I started to static balance the rear, and it was taking an awful amount of weight, around 60-70 grams. After reading some of the other posts, it appears the rim has a heavy spot. (?,!) Spinning the tire on the rim 180 degrees lessened the amount of weight needed to ten grams. I never checked the rim alone, but I was curious if anyone else has.
