I'm just razzing a bit... I took it to mean he wanted one that was new in the sense of being undamaged to replace what he has, and could tell from the price for a new one that was probably gonna be his reaction, and it was.

its on the inside lip and when you pump it up, its hard for the air pump to get in there right. The hole is out of round and i bent it back a lot but i just want new ones. Funny thing is, the caps screw right on. They function right, i just want some new ones.Leave a comment:

So the brass valve body itself, that the schraeder valve core screws into? What is the damage on the inside lip you refer to? Is the damage on the brass body threads where it screws into cap or the hole the valve screws into?Leave a comment:

I fell bad for hijacking this thread,, sorry. SO, my seals should be shipped out today and get them this week. Does anyone know of a good source to get the whole valve that screws into the cap? Not just a schraeder valve but the hole thing. Mine are buggerd up a little on the inside lip and i would like to replace them with new ones. Thanks again.Leave a comment:

I almost bought the George fix seals today as they state they are the same size. I don't deal with ebay much but I want a windshield to and am going to use the bill me later option and it needs to be over $99 to get no interest for 6 months so I want to be sure which shield to order and I order that and my seals together so I wont have any interest. I do not know the answer but I do know as long as it says the model I have in the description that I have always got the right parts from him. He answers any questions I have quickly and if there are any issues he points them out to me. Best guess right now would be 22 orders from him and no failures.
I find his Pro site to be lacking in searching as he does have the drop down for Yamaha, but he does not have the further search that lets one only identify XS11 products. It is there on his ebay site but not on his Pro site. Still can search his ebay site and order from his other site but I personally have not noticed any price difference. I have a question about these fork seals. The aftermarket seals are for XS1100 Specials, 1979-1981. If you go OEM the seals for the SF are only for the SF. The SG, SH, LG, and LH all take the same seal. What's the difference?
Does Georgefix have the same prices on eBay as on his site? I buy from him, but never on eBay. I plan to continue doing business with him.

The recommended amount in the manual that I have open here states 225cc (7.61 oz). That is very dry my friend when it comes to the handling of a motorcycle. It also does not take into account the amount of jack oil stop leak you put in it.
Best advice you can get. Glad to see you are following it.
Best seller on ebay as far as I am concerned. His parts are reasonable and his shipping is cheap. He will also fix any errors without fail. Georgefix is highly recommended by many here.
There are options when it comes to these like original or leak free or replacement parts. I have used all three of those and have had no issues with one over the other but many would disagree on that.
Sounds to me that a high pressure red rag wound in duct tape would be better than what you currently have happening. Motorcycles only have two wheels (in case some may not have noticed) and the operation of all their components needs to be in top notch shape for your and others safety. You may have your own favorite place to get OEM parts, but now you have the part number.
