I believe the rotors are from an FJR. Any 6 hole rotor should work. I know that some Ducati rotors will work. Mikes xs sells rotors as well. Mikes XS look look great and I believe are priced reasonable.

wow thats quite a transformation since bringing it home where it sat for 16 years...I could not imagine being married to someone who didnt understand riding a motorcycle...anyways you have done an outstanding job!!!

Thanks for the kind words. My wife has been very patient with me during this build. Unfortunatily she is terrified of riding. I think however she is warming to the idea as the years roll on.

That really looks nice. Modern brakes are nice I'd bet. Love the paint and tank logo. I've wanted to have one like that for a while. I'm not a fairing guy but that really looks sharp. Great job.

Nice looking bike, great job. Now do yourself a favor and look for a standard seat that fits that rear cowl better. I think the only thing that looks out if place is your seat. Kudos on your build.

That bike is choice! I disagree with WMarshy about the seat though. I think the one you have on there complements the overall tone of the bike. A little poofier & rounder goes with the lines of the cowling, the hand grips, and even the rounded lines on the pipes. If it's a comfortable ride, then I'd give you the win! But that's just my opinion. Nice job!

Thanks for all the great comments. I did the seat two years ago before anything else was done, so I didn't actually see what it looked like on the bike until I was almost through. This was my first shot at doing a seat and at the time I didn't have a rear cowl to use as a guide. After I upholstered it I didn't like it and always thought that I would rework it when I got closer to the end and had extra funds. I thought that I made it too big and I originally wanted it to fade into the rear cowl. I thought the lip between the seat and the cowl ugly. However, when I put everything together I thought it looked fine. Now I have grown to like it. I think it matches well.

I thought I replied to your question but I can't remember. The last few weeks have been a blur for me as I have been recovering from a surgery. I should say a drug induced blur. Anyhow, the cerakote is holding up well. there are a few places that need touching up where I scratched it. But the headers look awesome. The cerakote can handle the heat better than anything on the market i believe.

I am thinking about using this product and would love your perspective on how it is working for you.
